A young girl sits on a beach in early evening, her windswept hair shimmering with light. She wears mermaid jeans - or is she a mermaid in a T-shirt? Whichever, she is a magical child. Drawing inspired by a photograph given to me by a friend who saw the "mermaid" potential in the photo of her young niece.
